Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 3 – Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó has departed Cambodia at 5:35 pm Tuesday following the fruitful official visit and the signing of three important documents.

According to Minister Prak Sokhonn, Cambodia and Hungary have implementation the signed agreements, MoUs, and agreed mechanisms such as the Joint Economic Committee, the bilateral consultation between our two foreign ministries, to further strengthen our cooperation in fields such as water management, agriculture, economy and trade, tourism, and education.

Péter Szijjártó’s official visit will further expand and strengthen the traditionally close relations of friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and Hungary.

Péter Szijjártó is the third Foreign Minister to visit Cambodia amidst COVID19 pandemic, following Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi in August 2020 and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in October 2020.
