Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 4 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, his wife, and 18 bodyguards were tested negative of COVID19, according to the premier’s Facebook on Wednesday.

“After receiving news that Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister Péter Szijjártó tested positive, we rushed to get the tests. As a result, none of us have COVID19,” the premier said.

“Even tested negative, i will put myself in 14-day quarantine for everyone’s safety,” he added.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has tested positive for COVID19, according to the press release by Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs dated 4 November 2020.

Péter Szijjártó was tested positive in Bangkok after he departed Phnom Penh on 3 November after concluding the official visit to Cambodia.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 292 cases of COVID19 with 283 recoveries and no death.
