Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 13 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen delivered remarks at the Summit on “Commitments to Climate Change”, held on 12 December 2020, via video conference.

"Although Cambodia has less greenhouse gas emissions at the global level, we are highly committed to combatting climate change according to our capacity and available resources," the premier said.

"Cambodia has incorporated new and specific target, aimed to reduce Greenhouse Gas by 38.9 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalents, including sectors such as forestry, waste and agriculture, or equal to 18 percent reduction compared to Business-As-Usual scenario by 2030," he added.
