Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 15 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said that from June to November 2020, the government has spent USD 160 million to cover for food of the vulnerable households affected by COVID19.

He announced today that the government has reserved another USD 200 million for January to March 2021, addressing in a special message lived from his house this morning regarding current situation of COVID19 and the purchase of COVID19 vaccines.

“The distribution of money to cover for food for vulnerable households is just a temporary government measure amidst the pandemic; it is only implemented in times of crisis, not a permanent support,” according to the premier.
