Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 23 — Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen ordered to expel and ban from re-entering the Kingdom any foreigners who flee quarantine and fail to cooperate with Ministry of Health to prevent the spread of COVID19.

The decision was made on 22 February 2021 at the request of Dy Vichea, Deputy Commissioner of the National Police and Director of the Central Security Department of Ministry of Interior.

Cambodia will implement three measures against any person who do not cooperate with the government to combat COVID19 community transmission.

“First, Foreigners will be deported from Cambodia and banned from re-entering the country. Second, Cambodian people will face the laws. Third, authorities will revoke the licenses and close any businesses that do not follow the preventive measures set out by the Ministry of Health,” according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Tuesday.
