Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 23 – Cambodia reported 25 new cases of COVID19, of which three were new COVID19 variant cases detected on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 23 February 2021 (updated as of 9:00 a.m).

The newly infected patient is a 35-year-old and a 40-year-old Cambodian men returning from Africa through India's flight to Cambodia on 21 February 2021, with a total of 119 passengers.

The other 23 patients are Cambodian and Chinese nationals aged between 20 and 48 years old, who had involved in the February 20 community event.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 593 cases of COVID19 with 475 recoveries and no death.
