Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 24 – Cambodia reported 40 new cases of COVID19, while one patient recovered on Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 24 February 2021 (updated as of 7:00 a.m).

The newly infected patients are a 35-year-old and a 22-year-old Chinese women in Sihanoukville. The duo wish to return to China, but were tested positive while requesting for health certificates.

The other 38 patients are Cambodian, Chinese and Vietnamese nationals aged between 21 and 64 years old, who had involved in the February 20 community event.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 633 cases of COVID19 with 476 recoveries and no death.
