Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 7 – Cambodia reported 34 new cases of COVID19, while 19 patients recovered on Sunday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 7 March 2021 (updated as of 8:00 a.m).

The three newly infected are a 40-year-old, a 56-year-old and a 52-year-old Cambodian peacekeepers returning from UN Mission in South Africa through India's flight to Cambodia on 21 February 2021.

The other 31 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Chinese and Vietnamese nationals from Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh aged between 16 and 58 years old.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 987 cases of COVID19 with 510 recoveries and no death.
