Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 1 – Cambodia reported 37 new cases of COVID19, while 49 patients recovered on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 1 April 2021 (updated as of 11:00 a.m).

The newly infected patients are a 19-year-old Indonesian woman returning from Singapore to Cambodia on 30 March 2021, and a 39-year-old Indonesian man returning from Indonesia through Singapore's flight to Cambodia on 18 March 2021.

The other 35 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Chinese and Korean nationals from Sihanoukville, Kandal and Phnom Penh aged between eight months old and 63 years old.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 2477 cases of COVID19 with 1240 recoveries and 14 deaths.
