Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 2 – Two Cambodian COVID19 patients living in Phnom Penh died on 1 April 2021, according to the Ministry of Health's separate announcement dated Friday.

The first patient is a 61-year-old woman, who was tested positive of COVID19 on 31 March 2021. The patient passed away at 22:30 of 1 April due to severe lung disease and respiratory crisis attacked by COVID19.

Another patient is a 59-year-old woman, who was tested positive of COVID19 on 1 April 2021. She passed away at 12:00p.m due to heart disease, not COVID19.

To date, Cambodia has registered 17 cases of COVID19 fatality.
