Phnom Penh (FN), Jun.14 - Within the first five months of 2021, the trade volume between Cambodia and Korea reached over USD 302 million, an increase of 2.6 per cent compared to the same period in 2020, according to the report of the Ministry of Commerce seen by Fresh News on Monday.

Cambodia's exports include garments, electronics, footwear, beverages, rubber bags, medicines and cardboard, while the imported goods from Korea, include textiles, trucks, beverages, electronics, machinery, home decor, medicines, soaps and plastic products.

Cambodia and South Korea have finished the official negotiations for Free Trade Agreement.

"In Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 3 February 2021, South Korean trade minister Yoo Myung-hee met Cambodian minister of commerce Pan Sorasak to jointly announce the conclusion of the negotiations for the Cambodia-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA) via Video Conference."
