Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 9 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen warned authorities not to sell COVID19 PCR test kits, addressing the cabinet’s meeting held online on Friday.

Premier Hun Sen urged health officials to provide enough COVID19 rapid test kits to provinces along the borders and to the Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications said it will sell one COVID-19 rapid antigen test kit for USD 3.7 to government ministries and agencies, and private companies and institutions, while the general public can have their samples taken at the places assigned by the Ministry of Health.

So far, approximately 1 million rapid test kits have been used widely in the Kingdom.
