Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 2 — An additional of 609,600 doses of US-aided Johnson & Johnson vaccines have arrived Cambodia at 00:40 a.m of 2 August 2021.

Through COVAX Facility, the US announced to donate 1,060,100 doses of vaccine to Cambodia.

The first shipment of 450,500 doses arrived Cambodia on late Friday.

These vaccines are part of the ongoing support of the US for the people of Cambodia and the region as they recover from this devastating pandemic, US Embassy in Phnom Penh wrote in the statement.

Cambodia will have a total of 26.6 million doses of COVID19 vaccine by end of August and get everyone vaccinated by November 2021.

As of 31 July, the Kingdom has vaccinated over 7.3 million people, an equivalent to 73% completion of vaccination program.
