Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 4 – Cambodia reported 583 new cases of COVID19, 17 patients died, while 658 patients recovered on Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 4 August 2021.

157 newly infected patients are imported cases. The other 426 are patients involved in February 20 community event.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 79,634 cases of COVID19 with 72,803 recoveries and 1,488 deaths.
