Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 15 – Cambodia reported 588 new cases of COVID19, 17 patients died, while 742 patients recovered on Sunday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 15 August 2021.

193 newly infected patients are imported cases. The other 395 are patients involved in February 20 community event.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 85,448 cases of COVID19 with 80,396 recoveries and 1,683 deaths.
