Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 17 – Cambodia reported 556 new cases of COVID19, 14 patients died, while 716 patients recovered on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 17 August 2021.

167 newly infected patients are imported cases. The other 389 are patients involved in February 20 community event.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 86,597 cases of COVID19 with 81,918 recoveries and 1,718 deaths.
