Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 21 – Cambodia reported 493 new cases of COVID19, 16 patients died, while 655 patients recovered on Saturday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 21 August 2021.

189 newly infected patients are imported cases. The other 304 are patients involved in February 20 community event.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 88,735 cases of COVID19 with 84,506 recoveries and 1,778 deaths.
