Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 7 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen will chair the 7th Greater Mekong Subregion (7th GMS) Summit via videoconference on 9 September 2021, according to Cambodian Foreign Ministry’s press release dated Tuesday.

“Under the theme “GMS: Renewed Strength to Face the Challenges of the New Decade”, the meeting will review the progress of the cooperation since the 6th Summit held on 31 March 2018 in Viet Nam and chart future activities and direction of the cooperation for the next three years with the support from ADB. The meeting will also serve as an opportunity for participants to reflect their commitments and contribution to a more integrated, prosperous, sustainable, and inclusive subregion in addressing challenges for economic growth and social development in the subregion, region, and beyond.”
