Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 9 – The COVID19 pandemic continues to hit nearly every country globally and the same had happened to Cambodia. Many infection cases especially the Delta variant has raised a higher level of concern to our healthcare infrastructure and frontline workers who have been struggling and contributing their best effort to taking care the patients.

After the discussion between Oknha Dr. Trang Ly, the Managing Director of GA AIRCON, and Mr. Goh Kah Hean, the General Manager of Daikin Cambodia; we would like to donate total 25 units of Daikin Air Purifiers to the Ministry of Health via HE Or Vandin, the Secretary of State, the Spokesperson to the Ministry of Health and the chairperson of the Covid-19 vaccination committee of Cambodia to further distribute to hospitals across the country as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation towards the greatest effort of medical and frontline team in protecting the nation.

In 2021 Daikin had donated total over 260 units of air purifier to 23 hospitals and healthcare centres in Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Cambodia.

Daikin air purifier, MC40 & MC55, is small, compact, silent and powerful. One of the notable features is the Streamer Technology, a unique Daikin technology able to decompose harmful substances, bacteria or viruses up to 99.9% effectiveness, Electrostatic HEPA Filter is able to filter out up to 0.3micronmeter (2.5µm) fine particles, which is beneficial to provide better indoor air quality to individuals.

With our small contribution, we hope these air purifiers are able to keep clean environment within the hospital premises. With that effort, all of our healthcare workers and patients are able to live within healthier environment.
