Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 12 – Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi said China will import more Cambodia's agricultural products to the Chinese market, speaking in a joint a press conference with his Cambodian counterpart Prak Sokhonn following a bilateral talk, held Sunday in Phnom Penh.

Currently, some of Cambodian agricultural products, including rice, dried cassava, cashew, banana, and mangoes, have direct access to the Chinese market.

Minister Prak Sokhonn in return thanked the Chinese government and the people of China for the assistance to Cambodia through all forms of supports as well as assisting the Kingdom’s socio-economic recovery.

“No other countries in the world has assisted Cambodia as much as China has,” Sokhonn underlined.

Wang Yi and Sokhonn, today, discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation such as the fight against COVID19, trade and investment, education, security and national defense, as well as regional and international issues of common interest and concern.
