Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 17 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen demanded a politician to swear on his family’s death if the premier really asked him to help prepare the law on granting immunity for the leaving prime minister, president of the Senate and president of the National Assembly.

The message appears to refer to Sam Rainsy, former leader of court-dissolved Cambodia National Rescue Party.

The premier spoke at a press conference held on Friday morning at the Peace Palace on the launching ceremony of vaccination campaign for children aged from 6 to under 12 years old.

Premier Hun Sen recalled that he has received request to make immunity law by former Cambodian leaders, but he denied.

Hun Sen announced that he will not negotiate with the opposition, as his main task is to prepare for the 2022 and 2023 elections.
