Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 29 – Lao prime minister Phankham Viphavanh sent gratitude letter to Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen regarding the additional vaccine donation, according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Wednesday.

“Cambodia has nonetheless generously shares what it has by providing 200,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines to the Lao PDR thus contributing to helping us in attaining the target of 50% of our population being inoculated by year end as planned,” prime minister Phankham Viphavanh wrote.

“This invaluable assistance bears testimony to the Government's and the Cambodian people's genuine care and solidarity extended to the Government and the Lao people. It also reaffirms the cordial relations of friendship, the time-honored solidarity and the sound good-neighborly cooperation based on the comprehensive and lasting strategic partnership between our two countries that has been increasingly enhanced and deepened into more fruition.”
