Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 26 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, on Tuesday, participated in the 38th and 39th ASEAN Summit and related Summits, via video conference.

The meetings take place from 26 to 28 October 2021 at the invitation of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei.

The premier is accompanied by foreign minister Prak Sokhonn, commerce minister Pan Sorasak, education minister Hang Chuon Naron, and other senior government officials, according to Cambodian foreign ministry’s press release.

The premier will deliver his addresses in the following summits:
- 38th and 39th ASEAN Summits;
- 22nd ASEAN-Republic of Korea (ROK) Summit;
- 24th ASEAN-China Summit;
- 9th ASEAN-U.S. Summit;
- 24th ASEAN-Japan Summit;
- 1st ASEAN-Australia Summit;
- 24th ASEAN Plus Three (APT) Summit;
- 16th East Asia Summit;
- 18th ASEAN-India Summit; and
- 4th ASEAN-Russia Summit to Commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Dialogue Relations.

Prime minister will also make an address at the Closing Ceremony on 28 October 2021, where Brunei will handover ASEAN Chairmanship for 2022 to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
