Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 2 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen urged the vaccination card providers to pay high attention to the name issued on the COVID19 vaccination card, particularly the English name, as it must be matched to a name that appears on passport details or national identity card.

The premier spoke on Tuesday in a special voice message.

"I would like to take this opportunity to urge the Ministry of Health and the Sub-Commission on Vaccination of the Ministry of National Defense to pay high attention to the name issued on the vaccination card, especially the English name. It is not possible for our official and citizens to travel abroad if the name on the vaccination card does not match the name in passport details,” the premier said.

COVID19 vaccination card includes card number, both Khmer and English name, ID card number, type of vaccine, location, and vaccination date.
