Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 11 – The Cuban government roundly denounced the maneuvers orchestrated by the United States aimed at subverting the internal order and provoking a regime change in the Caribbean island.
In a meeting with the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Havana, foreign minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla warned on Wednesday that in no way will the persistent US aggression, intensified in recent months, to generate conditions of internal destabilization, be allowed to spoil the moment of recovery and joy that the country is experiencing with the control of the COVID19.
He added that in their attempts, the US centers of power use for their anti-Cuban purposes potent communicational machinery, particularly digital, which tries to build from lies and unreality a non-existent virtual scenario on the island.
In the appearance, Rodriguez pointed out that the aggression from abroad, with the use of internal agents, recruited, financed, and organized by the US government, seeks to harm the economic and social reopening of the country.
"With strict adherence to our constitution and the consensus that characterizes us, the people will defend public order," he emphasized.
The foreign minister warned that what is at stake now is the right of a sovereign state to exercise self-determination against the attempt of a superpower to intervene in its internal affairs, force a regime change, and destroy the constitutional order for strictly political motivations.
"The right of the Cuban people to peace, stability, tranquility, and citizen security is being settled."
He added that since September 22, 29 U.S. government statements had aimed to encourage, guide, and instigate destabilization actions in Cuba. Likewise, he maintained that the US Embassy in Havana, with 59 tweets, has openly supported the opponents and has tried to talk about alleged humanitarian aid from the Biden Administration to the Cuban people.
"They lie shamelessly. There has been no offer of humanitarian aid from the US government to Cuba or any kind throughout the entire pandemic, not even when the oxygen-producing plant broke down were they offered."
At another point in his appearance, Bruno Rodriguez pointed out that while Washington continues to prevent family reunification and the normal migratory flow between the two countries, it is now also adding the limitation of not recognizing Cuban vaccinations for Cubans traveling to that country.
However, he noted, it is surprising how Washington encourages the illegal migration of Cubans across its southern border.

For November 15th, the powerful propaganda machinery has unleashed aiming at presenting scenery in the virtual space; independently of what it may really occur on that date.
The central axis, the script followed by the US government, is to try to present Cuba as a failed state, a desperate and foolish attempt.
It's a destabilizing operation designed in Washington, with financial and material resources this government facilitates, with operators residing in US territory and agents to their service in Cuba, and with communicative practices and modalities that, in recent years, has characterized the toxic US political and electoral scenery.
Since the announcement of the march, last September 22nd, up to date, 26 statements by US official speakers and Congress members Marco Rubio, Mario Díaz-Balart and María Elvira Salazar, have been issued.
The Cuban government cannot, while respecting its basic obligations, allow the United States to organize and promote a provocation like this. We have said so in a clear and direct manner to the US government, both through official and public channels.
Just a few weeks ago, it was revealed the subsidies the federal agency USAID had granted to 12 organizations based in Florida, Washington and Madrid that deal with the anti-Cuban industry. This allocation of 6,669,000 million dollars, that should only be a small portion of the funds allocated by the federal government, was granted as recently as September, 2021.
There’s no law, at international level, or within Cuban national legislation, that avails US practice to finance actions and individuals to attempt against the constitutional order and the right of Cubans to peace and tranquility.
It’s interesting that in the face of the expected failure to mobilize the Cuban people, there is now an attempt to mobilize actions in other parts of the world. There’re threats against Cuban embassies, we’re not talking about large or representative groups. Just one individual, on April 30, 2020, attacked with an assault firearm the Cuban embassy in Washington, in a central avenue in that city.
During the pandemic, more than 60 sanctions has been imposed, making the US blockade against Cuba more extraterritorial and genocidal.
Cuba has the right to protect itself from the US aggression and the it has the duty to safeguard the peace, stability and tranquility the US intends to alter.
I have the duty to inform that private groups in Facebook not only carry out illegal activities in violation of Cuban laws, they even violate that platform´s own policies. They simulate the massive presence of individuals in Cuba that it´s known reside outside our country, fundamentally. As it has occurred in other parts of the world, Facebook can be sued because of these practices against Cuba.
We are certain that the majority of the international community supports the right of Cuba to solve its problems in a peaceful manner; to overcome the economic challenges that affect Cuba families’ daily life, without foreign interference or aggression; to bolster the economic transformations we have proposed, with no artificial obstacles; to savor the moment during which the country opens, after overcoming the worst stage of the pandemic.
The US policy against Cuba is destined to failure. Wake up from that dream. It won´t come true. It has not worked; it does not work and will never work.
