Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 23 – The Asian Vision Institute (AVI), under the sponsorship from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to Cambodia, launched special training programmes on "Cambodia-China Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA) and Economic Opportunities for Cambodia" and "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and Economic Opportunity for Cambodia".

The event was held Monday with the participation of prominent keynote speakers, namely Sok Siphana, chairman of the board of directors of the Asian Vision Institute; Wu Guoquan, economic and commercial counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Cambodia; and Penn Sovicheat, undersecretary of state and spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce.

"The training was attended by 45 participants from the private and public sectors and civil society, including young entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, lawyers, as well as specialists and practitioners in commercial law, investment, and international relations. Experts from AVI, Sok Siphana, chairman of the board of directors and Chheang Vannarith, president, are the trainers of both programmes," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Tuesday.
