Sihanoukville (FN), Dec. 2 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen ordered relevant ministries to consider lifting entry bans from 10 African countries over COVID19 Omicron variant, speaking at the 37-line roads inauguration in Sihanoukville on Thursday.

“We consider having travelers from the 10 African countries to do PCR test even they have fully vaccinated. This way is better than banning them from entering Cambodia,” the premier said.

Cambodia had issued a decision to ban incoming travelers from 10 countries in Africa including Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Angola, Zambia and Zimbabwe, according to a press release seen by Fresh News on 29 November 2021.
