Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 23 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that minister of economy and finance Aun Pornmoniroth will remain in the same position although the premier resigns.

The premier spoke at the inauguration of the new office building of the General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) on Thursday.

Aun Pornmoniroth was a former personal secretary of the premier since 1992 when he graduated from Russia and continued to be the premier’s personal advisor. He was appointed as the minister of economy and finance in 2013.
