Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 28 – Cambodia received an additional 1,467,530 million doses of the second batch of Australia-aided Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on Tuesday at the Phnom Penh International Airport.

On 26 December 2021, Cambodia received 783,000 dose of the first batch of Australia-aided Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

Cambodia so far has received more than 41.5 million doses of COVID19 vaccine through purchases and donations from friends like China, the US, UK, Japan, COVAX Facility and other partners.

Cambodia has vaccinated more than 89 percent of the total population. More than 3.4 million people have received third dose or booster shot.
