Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 5 – Phnom Penh Municipal Court (PPMC) investigating judge Im Vannak ordered to detain two protest leaders Chhim Sithar and Sok Narith, allegedly charged with incitement to cause serious social unrest in accordance with article 494 and 495 of the penal code, according to the separate orders seen by Fresh News on Wednesday.

Chhim Sithar and two other entourages, Sok Narith and Sok Kongkea, were arrested on 4 January 2022.

Sok Kongkea was released on bail and put under the court’s supervision after questioning.
