Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 6 – The fact has been clearly revealed – the cause behind the ongoing strikes that are organized by the Labor Rights Supported Union of Khmer Employees of NagaWorld (LRSU), led by Chim Sithor and co., intends to “destruct” the NagaWorld before the group walks away from the company. Moreover, the illegal movement is also targeting the upcoming universal election in 2023. Chim Sithor is one of several people who have “close relationship” with the exile traitor Mu Sochua.

This is the “truth” behind the efforts made by Chim Sithor and co. to incite and garner workers for the “lengthy strikes” they have claimed to demand for respect of labor rights and worker’s benefits. The intensity and structure of the strikes were deemed “unusual” – unlike what was underestimated by a small group of civil society, the strikes were seen as a foreign-instigated plan to harm Cambodia.

While all of the strikes’ leaders were totally Khmers, they may have “lost their conscience” or might have been “brainwashed” by an ill-intended group that does not want to see Cambodia be in peace and with full of development. Despite being handcuffed, their “unbending” faces show how serious they were trained and instilled with the ideology to destroy Cambodia.
The authority has revealed that the strikes led by Chim Sithor have been financially supported by three organizations – of which, two are internationals and another one is originated from a Superpower nation.

The strikes’ objectives were alleged to demand for the company to respect workers’ rights and to prevent more “layoff,” while the standoffs and the ways how the strikes’ take to the public streets were detailly planned. The authority called the almost-20-day-long strikes “illegal” and their leaders’ ultimate goal “being not to seek a real solution,” but to execute the ill-intended plan their financers are targeting.
In fact, what they claimed they were “on strikes” was incorrect. What they were doing was not “peaceful strikes” since those demonstrators, who were gathering in front of the NagaWorld, were the former employees the company had lawfully terminated their contracts. For workers who were on strikes, they have been ordered to return to work by the court.

So, who were the demonstrators who were staging protests? They have prolonged the protests and denied any solutions facilitated by the competent authorities. Moreover, some civil societies and NGOs who were alleged to be parts of the group who recently “pushed” for failed “color revolution” were also spotted as observers and were actively assisting those demonstrators, and so were the foreign-funded media outlets and journalists, who helped in echoing their voices. What are the former workers’ real purposes in prolonging the protests? To demand the company to accept the terminated workers back to work?

The recent termination of workers by the NagaWorld was seen as “abiding” by the labor laws, since the company claimed to have “loss” in their entertainment business due to Covid-19 pandemic, like many other businesses. Hence, if the workers feel that their termination was not abided by the labor laws, they could make an appeal to the Ministry of Labor or to the court or through other existing solution-seeking mechanisms. Marching on streets, gathering forces for illegal activities and taking the company and public order as “hostages” are seen as not the proper way to seek solutions. The former workers whose contracts were terminated are still entitled to compensation and other benefits from the company based on the existing laws, and they are still able to use the existing mechanisms to seek these compensation and other benefits, for instance, through the Phnom Penh Municipality Authority or the Ministry of Labor channels.

The LRSU-led, 17-day-long strikes, led by Chim Sithor, financially supported by some foreigners and participated by local “pushers,” were regarded as “more than” the usual demonstrations to protect the labor rights and terminated workers’ benefits, but were setups that use risky and confrontation styles in an ill-attempt to execute the subsequent phases planned by some foreigners. They have carefully planned these demonstrations for long-term confrontations – including the mapping and the organizing of food and equipment to support the demonstrations.

Demonstration leader Chim Sithor herself has sought assistances from donors, especially from the organization that trains them for demonstration. This is deemed as the “golden chance” for the ill-intended foreigners who “attempt to tear Cambodia apart” to set up plans for their subordinates to execute in exchange for fund. Hence, the demonstrations, led by Chim Sithor and co., were “kinds of trade” for a specific purpose.
Please, do not fall into the political trap, which might lead to the harming of the public order and social stability and security by using one own’s demanding rights in an “unlawful manner” and violating other people’s rights!

Competent authority would be strictly adhered to the law enforcement to maintain public order and social stability and security for the sakes of common interest and rights of all citizens. Any illegal activities and violations of common rights of all citizens, as well as the taking of streets and people’s common interest as “hostages” would not be tolerated, and strict measures would be taken by the authority to curb them! For instance, three demonstration leaders, namely Chim Sithor, Sok Kungkea and So Narith, were arrested on 4 January 2022, and some more accomplices were also arrested and charged by the court. These are what the inciting group deserves for what they have done to harm their own nation.
