Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 7 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen arrived in Myanmar’s Nay Pyi Taw on Friday for a two-day official visit, and handed over face masks and medical equipment to the government of Myanmar.

The premier’s visit was made at the invitation of senior general and chairman of the State Administration Council of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing.

Premier Hun Sen is accompanied by foreign minister Prak Sokhonn, minister of industry, science, technology and innovation Cham Prasidh as well as a number of senior government officials.

“During the visit, prime minister Hun Sen will hold a bilateral meeting with senior general Min Aung Hlaing to discuss and exchange views on bilateral and multilateral cooperation and the recent developments in ASEAN," according to a press release seen by Fresh News on 5 January 2022.
