Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 8 – Before Cambodian premier departed from Myanmar to Cambodia, Myanmar's senior general Min Aung Hlaing asked the premier to be his "Godbrother,” a Cambodian news reporter for the prime minister Hun Sen An Khuon Sam Aun wrote on his Facebook on Saturday.
“I was really excited to hear when Myanmar's senior general Min Aung Hlaing asked the premier to be his godbrother," Sam Aun wrote.
“Min Aung Hlaing told premier Hun Sen that in the future if the premier celebrates any family gatherings such as wedding ceremony, he would like to be invited as a guest,” Sam Aun quoted Min Aung Hlaing as saying.
Sam Aun continued, “in ASEAN, Samdech so far has four godbrothers, including Brunei's Sultan, Thailand's Thaksin, Myanmar's Min Aung Hlaing and himself. Myanmar will be blessed with peace and prosperity when premier Hun Sen contributes to solve the crisis.”
