Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 10 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen requested the Government of Japan to provide transportation assistances as part of humanitarian relief to Myanmar.

The premier spoke Monday at the inauguration of National Road No. 5 improvement project.

“It would be great if Japan can provide transportation aids to support humanitarian relief process in Myanmar. Japan is very supportive based on the principle of peace and humanitarian aids,” the premier underlined.

“The ASEAN operations to assist Myanmar are not considered the interferences in the country’s internal affairs,” Samdech Hun Sen added.
