Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 3 – At the invitation of the Royal Cambodian Army, commander-in-chief of the Royal Thai Army general Narongphan Jittkaewtae paid a two-day official visit to Cambodia for the first time since taking office.

During this visit, the general led a high-level delegation from the Royal Thai Army to the Cambodia Army Headquarters and held bilateral talks with army commander lieutenant general Hun Manet on 3 February 2022, according to a press release seen by Fresh News on Thursday.

“As a result of the bilateral talks, the two Army Commanders jointly signed the [Terms of Reference for Bilateral Cooperation between the Royal Cambodian Army and the Royal Thai Army] in order to strengthen and expand friendly relations and bilateral cooperation as well as to promote open discussion of subjects of mutual interests.”
