Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 9 – Phnom Penh Municipal Court (PPMC) investigating judge Ouk Reth Kunthea ordered to detain three former NagaWorld employees Chuob Channath, Seng Vannarith and Sao Sambath, allegedly charged with obstructing the implementation of health measures to prevent the spread of COVID19, according to the separate orders seen by Fresh News on Wednesday.

The three were arrested by Phnom Penh police on 5 February 2022 following the arrest warrants issued by deputy prosecutor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court Seng Hieng.

Article 11 of the law states that the offence of "preventing the implementation of measures to prevent the spread of COVID19” is punishable by six months to three years imprisonment and a fine of between two and 10 million riel ($500 and $2,500).
