Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 23 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen reassured that the government will not collect taxes on farmlands if the ruling party continues to win elections.

The premier spoke at the annual meeting of the Ministry of Interior on Wednesday afternoon.

“As long as Cambodian People’s Party continues to lead, the Royal Government will not charge any taxes on farmlands,” the premier said.

“Taxes from farmlands can not make the government rich,” he said.
