Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 14 – Eight former employees submitted letters to Ministry of Labor, requesting for temporary bails, according to separate letters seen by Fresh News on Monday.

The eight also requested to be the legal representatives to resolve the disputes and promised not to protest which would affect public order and national security.

According to the letters, in order to resolve the dispute with NagaWorld as well as the legitimate interests of all parties, the former employees appealed to the current former employees and employer as follows:

1. For employees who are protesting and have not returned to work, please return to work in order to protect workplace interests and create an environment for resolving legal disputes.

2. For employees who have been fired by NagaWorld, please stay at home and be calm to create an environment for us to negotiate with NagaWorld and the Ministry of Labor to find a good solution and pay legal compensations.

3. For employees who had participated in the protest in the past, the company shall not take revenge, punish, or force them to make other contracts.
