Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 14 – The Phnom Penh Municipal Court has decided to release eight former NagaWorld employees on bail, according to the court’s order seen by Fresh News on Monday night.

Labor minister Ith Sam Heng sent a delegation to visit the eight former employees and find suitable time for negotiations.

The eight employees, namely Chhim Sithar, Ry Sovandy, Son Sreypech, Hay Sopheap, Khlaing Soben, Touch Serey Meas, Sok Narith and Chhim Sokhon, were allegedly charged with incitement to cause serious social unrest in accordance with article 494 and 495 of the penal code.

Earlier, the eight submitted letters to Ministry of Labor, requesting for temporary bails and they also requested to be the legal representatives to resolve the disputes and promised not to protest which would affect public order and national security.

The former employees also appealed to current and former employees to return to work and create an environment for legal resolution and negotiation between concerned parties.
