Prey Veng (FN), Mar. 17 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that Cambodia's special announcement on the entry requirement of international travelers will attract investment, business and tourism to the kingdom. It will also reduce nose pain from taking COVID19 test.

The premier spoke in an inauguration ceremony of SOS children’s village in Prey Veng on Thursday.

"Undergoing COVID19 test is costly as it requires test kits and personal protective equipment,” the premier added.

On that occasion, the premier urged people to take care of their health and continue to strictly implement health measures.

Cambodian health ministry today issued a special announcement to amend some conditions for international travelers arriving in Cambodia. The Inter-Ministerial Commission to Combat COVID19 decided as follows:

1. Not require international travelers to show a negative PCR test result within 72 hours upon arrival in Cambodia.

2. Not require international travelers to take rapid COVID19 antigen tests upon arrival in Cambodia.

3. Permit the re-issuance of Visa on Arrival for all international travelers, including air, land and sea travelers.

Cambodia has so far vaccinated more than 92 percent of the total population. Nearly 8 million people have received third dose and more than 1.1 million received the fourth shot.

The kingdom fully reopens all socio-economic activities since 1 November 2021.
