Prey Veng (FN), Mar. 17 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen announced to accept Ukrainian refugees if they fled to Cambodia, speaking in an inauguration ceremony of SOS children’s village in Prey Veng on Thursday.

"I do not encourage that, but in the case of Ukrainians fleeing to Cambodia, we will accept them," the premier said.

The Russia-Ukraine war has been ongoing for three weeks, while the fourth round of the negotiation was held on 14 March 2022.

To date, over 3 million Ukrainian refugees have arrived in neighboring countries. More than 1 million refugees fled to Poland, nearly 270,000 to Hungary, and more than 337,000 to Moldova, according to UN's reports.
