Siem Reap (FN), Apr. 4 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said we shall not tolerate any ill-intended people who want to destroy peace in Cambodia.

The premier spoke at the inauguration ceremony for the official use of 38 roads in Siem Reap on Monday (Apr 4).

“No matter which political party you belong to, you have to maintain peace. We have zero tolerance for those who want to destroy peace. Once peace is destroyed, many innocents will die. Therefore, we must dare to sacrifice our lives to maintain peace,” the premier underlined.

Samdech added, our country has peace and we must maintain it. Without peace, no need to talk about development, democracy, and human rights.

The premier set the situation in Ukraine as an example of the value of peace.

From 1979 to the present, Samdech himself and other dignitaries have joined with the Cambodian people to fight for peace and political stability, paving way for Cambodia to develop the country and strengthen democracy and human rights as well as other social protections.
