Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 25 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said the situation of the Ukraine-Russia conflict could have negative impacts on investment, trade as well as regional and global production chains.

The premier spoke at the handover ceremony of more than 1 million doses of COVID19 vaccine from Italy to Cambodia on Monday (25 Apr) at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh.

“The Royal Government of Cambodia has monitored the situation of the Ukraine-Russia conflict as it has caused many challenges, especially energy shortages, rising of crude oil prices and inflation, which can have negative impacts on investment, trade as well as regional and global production chains,” the premier underlined.
