Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that the Russia-Ukraine war has prolonged for two months, which negatively impacted the global economy and world order.

The premier spoke at the closing ceremony of the annual meeting of Ministry of Education on Wednesday (27 Apr).

"Following the COVID19 pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine war is disrupting the whole world, which can compare to World War III in terms of economic crisis and its massive impacts," the premier underlined.

Samdech added, negotiations were encouraged between all concerned parties to end the war as soon as possible. We support the role of the secretary-general of the United Nations, who seeks to facilitate reconciliation between the two countries.

“War is not a mean to end war,” the premier reiterated.
