Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 6 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen called on the people nationwide to contribute to clearing all landmines in the kingdom by 2025 through national movement.
The call was made during his meeting with Cambodian ASEAN Para Games athletes held at the Peace Palace on Wednesday (Jul 6).
"I want Cambodia to be a mine-free nation by 2025 through national movement," the premier underlined.
On that occasion, the premier also announced ABA bank account, so that the people can easily donate to mining activities.
Samdech reminded that the demining and unexploded ordnance operation in Cambodia has been going on for 30 years.
