Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 5 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen encouraged his children to involve in political affairs, speaking while receiving an honorary doctorate degree from RUPP on Friday morning (Aug 5).
“On 24 February 1979, my wife brought our children to meet in Phnom Penh and she asked me to stop doing politics. However, I told her that the Khmer Rouge was trying to retaliate. So I shall continue politics, as I could not abandon the people. In the past, I never wanted my children to participate in politics but armies. Now, I changed my mind and encouraged my next generation to involve in politics,” the premier underlined.
