Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 23 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen pledged to spend his entire life safeguarding the kingdom and the people, speaking at the graduation ceremony of students of Asia Euro University, held on Tuesday (Aug 23) at OCIC, Phnom Penh’s Chroy Chongvar district.

The premier’s remark was made in response to an analyst known as "Akhmao".

“Hun Sen will not change his character as he needs to protects peace and develop the kingdom. Hun Sen is standing here, defending the nation, defending the territory, defending the peace, and the lives of the people. Hun Sen will never change and will be forever Cambodia’s,” the premier underlined.

On that occasion, Samdech added that even if he loses power in the future, the power to govern the country will still be in the hands of the Cambodian People's Party, and will not fall into the hands of the opposition.

Samdech reiterated that he will protect peace and political stability at all costs.
