Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 23 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen advised Cambodian information minister Khieu Kanharith to terminate a license of any media company if found using inappropriate language.

The premier spoke in the graduation ceremony of students of Asia Euro University, held on Tuesday (Aug 23) at OCIC, Phnom Penh’s Chroy Chongvar district.

“In the future, if a media uses an inappropriate language, minister Khieu Kanharith must terminate their license. I give you [media company] a freedom of speech but that does not mean you can use inappropriate language,” the premier underlined.
