Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 31 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen urged citizens to leave Khem Veasna’s land in Kulen Mountain and return home to continue their daily life.

The premier spoke in the groundbreaking ceremony of two new flyovers on Wednesday (Aug 31) in Phnom Penh.

“I urge people to come out, as there are free buses and foods waiting outside,” the premier underlined.

“I would like to request Khem Veasna to stop the non-scientific actions and let the innocent citizens return home,” the premier continued.

Khem Veasna has been spreading superstitious propaganda to his supporters that at the end of August or soon, there will be floods all over the world, including Cambodia. Only at Kulen Mountain [his land] is a safe place to settle. As a result, his supporters who are working and living in Cambodia, Korea, Japan and Thailand decided to quit their jobs and pack to settle at Veasna’s land near Kulen Mountain, Siem Reap province.
