Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 9 – The Royal Government of Cambodia decided to suspend the celebration of the Royal Water Festival in the capital Phnom Penh, according to decision made at the cabinet meeting, held Friday at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh.

However, it is still possible for the provincial level to organize the celebration in order to promote tourism as well as generate income opportunities for the local people.
